Our Castor oil is crafted in India and is created by subjecting the Castor bean to the cold-press process. The resulting oil is a pale, yellowish color with a faint odor. After the bean is pressed, the oil is filtered to remove any resulting debris. Castor oil, being very emollient, helps the skin retain moisture and is used as a binding agent and lubricant. Rich in Ricinoleic acid, (over 85%), Castor oil has surprising benefits as it is known to deeply penetrate the skin. Famous for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties, many sources say it can penetrate up to 4 inches
